TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 


General 

The terms "customer", "subscriber", and "family" can be used interchangeably, and refer to the person/family that has either a) purchased a product or service, or b) is the recipient of a product or service from Moose Caboose.

Wash My Stash  and Cloth Rental service plans are applicable to one child per each plan purchasedA new service plan must be purchased for each child using the service

Payment will be collected for each week of diaper service prior to delivery of diapers. Each payment is non-refundable. All changes in service by a customer must be made at least 24 hours before the next scheduled delivery day. Moose Caboose cannot guarantee changes to service without at least 24 hours notice. 

Moose Caboose has the right to discontinue services and products, as well as, make changes to the subscription terms and subscription items as they see fit. Notice will be given to all customers that may be effected by changes in service.

By subscribing to a service plan, the customer agree to receive email and text message alerts and reminders from Moose Caboose. 

Diaper Service Pickup/Delivery Policies 

Used diapers should be set outside no later than 8 AM on pickup day. If the pickup is missed, and the driver has to make an extra trip it may result in an additional charge between $5-$15. Delivery days are automatically assigned by location. Customers may not choose a specific delivery day. 

The laundry bag must be placed in a spot that is shaded or otherwise protected from the elements. During periods of bad weather, the diapers can be ruined if left open to the elements and during the summer they can attract bugs and animals which can also cause damage. Do not leave diapers (clean or dirty) outside overnight and always keep the bag fully closed when outside on delivery day.

 

Moose Caboose is not responsible for any personal items mistakenly placed in laundry bags. 

Cloth Rental Service 

The minimum commitment to use our rental service is 4 weeks. 

The first delivery for expecting parents is 1-2 weeks before baby’s due date (unless you are expecting twins or an earlier arrival). The customer is responsible for alerting Moose Caboose when the baby has arrived and they have begun using rental diapers.

The customer may only wash diaper covers at home. The customer may not wash any other diapering items (prefolds, pockets, etc.) at home, as this can cause unintentional damage. 

The rental diapers may not be used for any purpose other than diapering (such as cleaning or as burp cloths).

 

The customer may not use any diaper rash paste/cream unless it is marked 'Cloth Diaper Safe'. If they do have to use an ointment/paste/cream that is not safe for cloth diapers, then they agree to use a liner (cloth or disposable) on top of the diaper to protect it.
 

All rental items (prefolds, pockets, all-in-ones, diaper covers, pail liners, laundry transport bags, etc.) received from Moose Caboose are rented and must be returned at the conclusion of using the service.

Lost/Stolen Rental Items

The customer is responsible for all items delivered by Moose Caboose including diapers, pail liners, and delivery bags from the time they have been delivered until they have been picked up by Moose Caboose. Diapers that are stolen from the customer's pick-up location are the responsibility of the customer. 

The customer is responsible for returning all rental items at the completion of service, and will be charged a replacement fee for each unreturned item.

Replacement fee varies by item type as follows:

  Replacement Fees:

  Prefold - $2

  Cover - $5

  All-In-One - $10

  Pocket - $10

  Insert - $2

  Pail Liner - $5

  Delivery Bag - $5

 

Wash My Stash 

Payment is due before items are picked up for processing. Moose Caboose cannot be held responsible for damage or deterioration to items in diaper stash (including, but not limited to: diapers, diaper covers, inserts, diaper bags, etc.) that results from normal wear and/or standard cloth diaper laundering, sanitizing or stripping by Moose Caboose. Moose Caboose is not responsible for payment or replacement of diapers.

Product Disclaimer 

In no event shall Moose Caboose be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of any product purchased or rented herein. You agree and acknowledge that any product purchased should be used at your own risk and you should assess the risks individual to your child before purchasing any product or using any product with or on your child. You agree that in the event that Moose Caboose is deemed liable for any harm caused, the amount which it shall be liable to you shall be limited to the cost of the product or service. Before treating your child with any product purchased herein, you should consult a pediatrician. You agree and acknowledge that nothing sold on this site should be used to replace a pediatrician’s professional treatments of your child and should be merely used as a supplement in the event that such product is recommended for a particular reason by your pediatrician after evaluating your child’s condition. The products sold herein are not meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition that may befall your child. You assume all liability for the treatment of your child. Moose Caboose reserves the right to edit and otherwise alter their Service Terms and Conditions at any time and will notify current customers of any changes via the email address currently on file should any changes occur. 
 

Product Delivery/Shipping 

Free Delivery is limited to our local Diaper Service Area. 

Shipping is only available within the United States. 

Free Shipping offers and shipping discounts EXCLUDE Disposable/Compostable diapers unless explicitly stated otherwise. Regular shipping rates apply to Disposable/Compostable diapers.

Refunds

All products and services sold by Moose Caboose are non-refundable. All sales are final.
